Story

Set in the area of Retreat, Cape Town, siblings Deliwe and Dumisani are dealing with the recent loss of their mother in a household already healing from the loss of their father. What's expected to be a process of co-parenting of the self between the two young siblings turns out to be a harsh and disciplined rule by the older brother Dumisani. With an itching for freedom and disdain for her brother's need for control, Deliwe wants to go out on a night of her own after her last day of matric. Dumisani's grip doesn't yield, leading to a lunch involving the two and Dumisani's fiance that blows out of proportion.
